Together with the old hospital, the hospital is the new "San Gerardo hospital complex."

The perimeter of the new hospital also includes the building of Villa Serena and the Faculty of Medicine of the University Milano-Bicocca.

Transport

The new hospital can be reached by the following means of transport:

 

Tpm city bus lines 4 (Vedano - Via Taccona) and 6 (Villa Serena-Via Pellegrini)

Airport Transfer information

 

Malpensa:

On arrival at the baggage collection you can purchase a coach ticket for 8 Euros (one way) to take you to Milan Central Station  - approximately 55 minute  transfer or these can be purchase online prior to your trip. The tickets can also be bought on the bus.

 

If you prefer you could use the train (malpensa express) this takes a similar amount of time and the ticket office is open from 08.30 hrs to 00.25 hrs - the cost is 20 Euros return. There are automatic machines at the station.

 

From Milan Central the train to Monza takes between 10 - 20 minutes depending on the train taken - cost is 2.20 Euros (one way) and tickets are easily obtainable from the automatic machines or the ticket office if you prefer (however, they may charge a fee if you use the office)

 

Linate:

Transfer by bus is around 25 minutes and cost 5 Euros return

Tickets can be bought on the bus

The bus departure point is outside the airport building, Arrivals area, exit number 6

There is no train station at Linate Airport

 

Taxis :

Should you wish to taxis it would be advisable to research the cost online.

 

In Monza there is a public transport available or a taxi service phone: 039 36.37.9
